During the summer months, you can visit the European resort town of Marmaris, which is on the coastline of Turkey, and is known as a hub of sophisticated tourism. It is the first town along the famed `Turquoise Coast` along the north eastern edge of the Mediterranean. Around the bay you will find Marmaris, which has a new modern marina, at the base of mountains, surrounded by lush trees, which caters to both private yachts and commercial cruise lines sailing the Mediaterranean. Local folklorists tell tale that Marmaris received its handle when Suleyman the Magnificent `Mimari as!` when he ascertained that the fortress he had commanded to be built was not to his liking.it means `kill the designer`. a great experience is shopping at Marmaris. If you want to find great deals, go to the Carsi Market in the Ottoman Castle, it features over 200 shops and their on site flea market is open 7 days a week so you can find awesome deals on items like as jewellery, ceramics, leather products, and carpets. On Thursdays the local come to sell fruits and vegetables along with different fabrics and clothing. Preparation is critical if one wants to enjoy all Marmaris has to offer. A good number of vendors chiefly found in the market, cheat the customers in the garb of middlemen which is not only illegal but also disturbing. Consumers are now looking to haggle over prices. An already inexpensive product can be haggled down another 30 percent with a bit of persistence. Shoppers are warned to be on their toes because many of the goods at Marmaris are actually designer knock-offs. So if you find a great price on a Rolex watch that you’d like to have, you should expect that it is a fake. Some imitations look good and are still well-made, so don`t be afraid to buy them while you`re in Turkey. Marmaris offers hundreds of eateries catering to every taste and every pocketbook: from local Turkish specialties at Lokanta to cuisines from around the globe. A variety of foods are found here.Remember to do some sampling as you go, the various tasty Turkish delicacies are all worth trying. The wild and exotic evenings in Marmaris are mostly clustered around Bar Street, by the waterfront. Here you can find all the nightclubs and bars, overflowing with people until as late as 4am. Most of the restaurants in the area will stay open all night to feed the hunger of the early morning partiers. The best clubs to visit include David Jones` Locker where you can dance all night and drink affordable cocktails, Vagabundo which is right on the beach and is known for its workers dancing on the bar, and Cheers where you can enjoy a drag act and outdoor seating away from the heat.
